Step 6: Making Revisions to an EXISITING GALLERY
1. Scroll down and click on an Existing Gallery image, and the “Pencil Icon” will appear.
Click on the “PENCIL ICON.”
2. On the “Edit Gallery” page, select any of the 3 Gallery images, and on the right click “EDIT IMAGE”
“Gallery Settings” and “Attachment Details” will appear on the far right of the Page.
Follow all of the previous steps (10-19) from Step 5, except by making revisions to any and ALL EXISTING GALLERY images.
3. Click “View Page” on top of the WordPress dashboard to view the page as all your viewers will view it.
All the Main Gallery Images now look GREAT, and they are less than ½ their original file size. ALL Gallery images have now been OPTIMIZED!
Congratulations! You have made it to nearly the end – we are almost done!
Now we will just need to re-check ALL of our work, and refresh our Google Page Speed Insights page-by-page to see if we have succeeded in our efforts.
But before we go onto the Final Step, make sure you click on EACH previous lesson below AND READ AND REVIEW THESE IMPORTANT STEPS FROM PART 1:
Step 5: Document and Assign EVERY IMAGE in your Spreadsheet by Pages and Posts.
Step 6: Identify Slow Pages and Determine Causes through Page Speed Insights
Once you’ve reviewed and understand these steps, jump back here to PART 2 and move on to the Final Step 7.
