7. Build Links

Aside from writing articles, you can also build links. Linking to relevant sources will help your site rank higher in search engine results. Choose two articles from page one of Google that are relevant to your post and include an external link to them.

If your site has a lot of internal links, it will be easier for the search engines to crawl it.

The more referring domains you get, the more authoritative it is, and the higher your search ranking. The more dofollow links you build, the more traffic you'll have.

While you'll have to be patient and learn about the various algorithms, you can start building links and boosting your domain authority right away.

Your goal is to make your site as authoritative as possible, but remember that other factors determine your website's success.

Conclusion

While page speed isn't as important as site speed, it's still important to maintain. If your page is too slow, your visitors are more likely to leave, which will negatively affect your conversion and engagement rates and show in your bounce rate.

Thanks again, Lily! Without achieving a higher domain authority, there's no way to rank higher in SERPs. Nice tutorial!

Thanks, Tommo.

Your Site Speed is how fast your whole website loads and individual page speed affects that. Sometimes you have to resize images to let a page load faster. By correcting this you will speed up the loading of your whole website.
