The "Corner Ad" plugin, allows you to place a nifty "Page Curl" ad in the top left corner of your website.

First, you will need to login to your WordPress dashboard, install and activate the plugin.

You do not want this ad to display everywhere on your site, you want it to appear just on your "posts" page so you'll need to select this option in the "Website's Scope" configuration section before you create a new ad.

Once you have this set as shown in the image below, click the "Create New Ad" button.

I am going to place this banner as my "Page Curl" ad, it looks great on my sites when I place it in the top left corner.

You will need to add the following on the "Create a new Corner Ad" page.

The title of your ad

Your affiliate link

You will need to upload your banner

Configure the ads interaction

The interaction in seconds area is where you can have the ad open and shut automatically, if you desire.

If you leave this area blank, then the small ad will show and a site visitor will have to hover their mouse over the ad in order to see the page curl back.

I like to have the ad open 1 second after a site visitor arrives, and I like to set it to automatically close within 5 to 10 seconds.

This way, the ad opens automatically to gain a site visitors attention, yet closes automatically so that the site content is not hidden as the visitor reads the content.

If the image has peeked the visitors interest, then they will normally revisit the banner ad before they leave my website.

Once you have configured your ad, click the "Save Corner Ad" button to save it.

Once saved, you will be proved with some "code" you can use to place the ad on your site.

Copy the PHP code (highlighted in blue below).

If you are following the training here, then you already have All In One SEO plugin installed, you will need to hope on over to that plugins interface and paste the code you just copied in the "Additional Post headers" section of the All In One SEO plugin.

That area is near the bottom of the plugins interface.

Click the "Update Options" button, and viola, your ad has been placed on every post on your website!

Here is how the ad looks when it's completely closed, as you can see, the wanna be Mr. Clean man is peeking out from behind a tiny little corner that looks like a page curl.

Here is the same ad, with the page curled completely open. As you can see, Mr. Clean is more prominent, and noticeable. You can see how this would be annoying if your ad is set to stay open, so be sure to set it to open & close automatically.

You want it to be open for just enough time, to peek your site visitors interest, and no more.

You are welcome, if you are having trouble with other placement areas, the ad inserter plugin is ideal. I have used it for years and I have provided training for it as well at Maybe that one can help you as well?

Very informative but too much, too long for a one-time read. Could we have a shorter but just as effective and informative read? Thank you.

No, there is no way to shorten it, I provided it to give in depth knowledge & tutorials have a minimum page requirement.

I made sure to add one plugin per page.

You can easily skip the information that you find too lengthy, the plugin configurations start on page 3, but I do write my tutorials in order to help all, including those who do need more in depth information so that they can understand the features better.
