Before I explain how to configure each of the plugins, I want to caution you about one very important thing.
Banners ads, when placed correctly and used properly, can truly produce massive results that you might find amazing.
Yet, if you overload your website with banners, then you'll not see very much positive result for your efforts.
As a webmaster (yes you are a webmaster if you operate a website) you have to think on so many different levels, that it's actually a very difficult task to master.
First, you have to focus on how to create a website that search engines will love, yet you also have to create a website that your site visitors will love.
There is a fine line between SEO content that the search engines love, and content that your site visitors will love.
This tutorial is showing you how to utilize 3 separate plugins, for 3 separate purposes, but I am not advocating that you should use all three plugins on any SINGLE website.
You'll see why at the end of this tutorial, the end result of using all three ends up being a great big bulletin board that advertises nothing but Wealthy Affiliate.
This is NOT the goal that we are trying to achieve!
I recommend that you choose 1, no more than 2 ad placement plugins, simply because you do not want to deter people away from your content.
You've spent time writing a wonderful post that google loves, that visitors are commenting on, that is bringing visitors to your site on a daily basis.
The one thing you do not want to do is bombard them with too many ads or they will simply leave and never return. Some may even leave in somewhat of a "huff".
Let's look at the mind for a moment.
If you are walking down the sidewalk carrying a heavy load, and someone comes up to you to help you with your load, how would you feel?
That is what your article does, it helps lighten someones load a bit.
You would feel happy correct?
So, let's say that this individual that is helping you, offers you a flyer after he or she has assisted you.
What will you do with the flyer?
Me, I would most likely take it and place it somewhere safe so I could review it later (bookmarked).
Yet, what if this individuals friends came running over, not to help, but instead to give you their flyers too? And their billboards, and their business cards, and their ....well I think you get the picture.
Your load has been lightened a very little bit, yet the strain is heavier now due to the stress and turmoil of being "too crowded and too overloaded".
Your bubble has been popped and you want to get as far away from these insane lunatics as fast as you can!
That is how many site visitors feel when they visit a website with too many ads and banners.
Today, there are a lot of good websites with loads of great information, yet the ads are so obtrusive and laggy, that the content rarely gets read.
So when you are placing banners on your website, use a bit of wisdom and common sense.
The main rule is this: Above all, make sure that the value that you offer to your site visitors, outweighs the value that you expect to receive in return!
If you follow that one rule, write for the visitors, and provide just enough advertising to make the visitor believe that your banners are also your kind offers of assistance, then you will do well.
