I utilize this plugin to display my Adsense, amazon and other affiliate ads and banners in various locations throughout my website.

I have used this plugin for many years, and can honestly admit that it's my favorite WordPress plugin by far, simply because it lets me test ad performance in a very quick and efficient manner.

If a certain ad does not bring the desired results, then this plugin makes it very easy for me to change it's display position, delete it, or replace it entirely with another ad that may prove to be more profitable.

I also use this plugin to display my Amazon carousels, as shown in the image below.

Because the ad-blocks utilize HTML, I was able to not only configure the ad-block for this ad to display the carousel beneath every post on my site, but I was also able to add my Amazon Affiliate Disclaimer above the ad, to help me remain in compliance with the Amazon Affiliates terms of services.

By doing this, I can rest peacefully knowing that when I create a new post, the proper ad will appear at the end of the post, along with the disclaimer.

I also use this plugin to display my Adsense ads.

Below is an ad that I show on one of my websites. I have this ad configured to appear before the content in every post that I write.

This is another of my Adsense ads, it is set to show after the 5th paragraph in every post on my website.

By configuring where the ads are to be displayed, I have found that this not only saves me obscene amounts of time (time is money to me) but it also gives me peace of mind because once the ad is setup, I can forget it and carry on writing my content knowing that the ads I desire will be perfectly placed every time I create new content on my website.

To install the plugin, you should go to the "Add Plugin" area in your WordPress dashboard and complete a search for Ad Inserter. Install and activate the plugin.

Once you have activated the plugin, you will be able to access it by clicking the "Ad Inserter" link in the Settings area of your WordPress dashboard.

Good Morning,
I just installed the Ad-Inserter and wonder if you suggest anything to be changed on it from a new user just publishing their website?
I'm bombarded with info right now just trying to get started, but if a couple of things need to be changed in the settings I'll get to it.

I've installed Goggle Analytics and AdSense today so I can start tracking traffic that I want to send to CJ (or another) to join their program. I'd start with Amazon, but I'm doing Travel and I don't think that's the place to start. Any other programs out there anyone believes easier to get in.
Also Abie, I feel stupid asking, but I'm lost with how to use this messaging system to it's fullest. Is there some tutorial that goes over that?

Sorry, but what I mean about the message system is that if I want to send a private message to someone, the question line is fine but then the below info, where you want to explain further is loaded with questions and I don't know how to by-pass that and continue with my private message. Is there a book "WA Messaging for Dummies? 😂😂

Just added the plugin and I have my first ad on there and ready to go. Perfect training, step by step is the best way for me to learn to do something.
Still got lots to learn, as I want to use the manual feature for certain post. Question if I to put an add using the short code, where do I get the short code for to insert there.

Thanks so much. Great job!

Hi Coralie, the ad for the short code is under the area that you paste the HTML, click the "Manual" button.

I'm happy to know that you find this information useful!

After I clicked on the Ad Installer in the settings page, I see this screen. Where do I go from here?

Hi Maria - I'm struggling to find a plugin that works. Amazon have discontinued secret keys and the API. As I'm new to Amazon, I don't qualify for their new version API.

This plugin is also asking for it. What do I do? Any advice appreciated as I've wasted DAYS looking and trialling various plugins to no avail.

Thanks,

Chris

That was very useful, thanks. The code for native adds is still not showing. I have disabled adblocker and refreshed the pages, but hasn't helped.

It may take a day or two for the ads to show if you just installed the code.

Did you have to insert anything in your header? There's usually something to put in your header, then the actual ad code.

If you haven't put anything into your header yet, you can use this plugin to easily place it there:

Hi Chris, I'm not sure what secret keys and API has to do with anything, those are not required in order to use this plugin.

I never use the API and secret key, I just copy and paste from within the associates center.

Thanks for your help, Nathaniell. My template has no widgets in the footer, so I placed the Html in the sidebar. I have now installed the plugin and relocated it.

I will have to wait 2 days before anything shows up?

Hey Maria,

Do I understand you correctly that this plugin will allow Amazon ads to be displayed even when AdBlocker is being used in a browser?

If so, I'm definitely interested in this plugin!

Thanks... "Like'd" and tagged for sharing in the future.

I'm not sure how it works on any browsers other than Chrome. I had ad blockers installed in my Chrome, and my amazon ads show just fine for me.

I had never given that much thought to be honest, I always wondered why many sites did not use that cool carousal that Amazon gives us to use, but if it's because they are blocked in my browser, then I see why I never see them much.
