The call to action section is directly at the footer of your website, with no open "white" space.

This is not very pleasing to look at, so we'll next add the "testimonials" section.

We will not be adding actual testimonials, but we will be using this feature so that we can place an attractive "white space" between the call to action section and footer area of the website.

Go to Appearance > Customize > Front Page Settings > Testimonial Section

Add the Blossom: Testimonial widget then click Publish to save the change.

Here is my call to action section before I added the testimonial widget, as you can see, the call to action section runs directly into my footer.

I do not like how this looks, it's not very professional.

Here is the same call to action section, with the same footer, yet this time the testimonial section has been added. The added white space, makes the two look much better now that they are "separated".

And here is how the full landing page appears, once it has been completely setup and configured.

You are almost done, you have your landing page up, it looks great and you are getting ready to promote it.

But you still need to add the program you intend to use for your mailing list.

The Blossom Themes Email Newsletter plugin is not a mailing list plugin, it is a plugin that makes it easy and simple to add an attractive form to the main page of your website.

To add your mailing list provider, you will need to go to the Settings area of the plugin.

Under the General section, there are a few mailing list providers that you can choose from.

I personally use Aweber as my mailing list provider, but if you are new to operating your own mailing list, then mailchimp is the most affordable option (free for first 2,000 subscribers).

Note: Some autoresponders do not allow mailing lists in the affiliate marketing or money making niches. If your website is is in one of these niches, then you may need to research and select the service that suits your needs best.

This lesson explains how to configure mailchimp, simply because it's suitable for most niches and is very easy to configure (and you can't beat Free!)

Select mailchimp in the drop-down window.

You will need to place your Mailchimp API key in the API Key area, so login to your mailchimp account, and click the "Create A Key" button that is provided there.

You'll be able to copy your key once it's created.

Paste this key in the API Key area and save the changes. The plugin will automatically pull up the List ID on it's own. You can configure this list in your mailchimp account following their help files and tutorials they provide to members.

Tasks 0/2 completed
1. Add the testimonial widget to create the white space.

Hi Maria, Thanks for this training!
I just had a very small issue.
I don't want my About me to be shown on the landing page. Would you recommend showing it or not? And for some reason, the testimonial is going above my call to action section, and my "white space" is not created between the footer and the call to action. Is there a way to change it?

Norbert, Jeremy has replied with the first things I would suggest as well. If his solution does not work, let me know and I will work with you to get it fixed.

Do you use Zoom? I have helped a few here by sharing my screen via zoom so they can see me as I go through the steps, the visual tends to help them.

Hi Maria, I did not use so far zoom, I didn't need it. In the meantime I managed to sort the issues. I had a Simple call to action, which is positioned lower on the page than the Call to action section! Thanks

Hi Maria. Since I have changed themes. The underlining in my blogs that led to a product review and the underlining in the product review that led to the product information and purchase are no longer underlined/highlighted. The links are all still in place. Your advice would be appreciated.

I have only been going for 2 months so my selection of products from the affiliate companies are a little scant. Therefore my text widgets are also a little scant. Will I just run and fix/upgrade as I go.
Thanks again.
