Now that you have the plugins activated, you can start working on the configuration, design and text that you want for your landing page.
First, you will need to create 2 separate pages.
Do this by clicking Pages > Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
Create a page titled Home
You can leave the text area blank, nothing needs to be added.
Create another page titled Blog
Again, the text area can remain blank.
Once both pages are created and published, you will want to click on Settings > Reading to go to the Reading Settings area of your WordPress dashboard.
Once you are in the Reading Settings area of your WordPress dashboard, you will need to select the A Static Page option and set the Home page that you just created as your Homepage, and the Blog page that you just created as your Posts page.
Once these have been set, be sure to click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
In the next lesson we will be changing the main image that is displayed at the top of the landing page.

I using the Blossom Themes Email Newletter, and the question is How to set the landing page width/ form width on the page or post? because it appear full on the footer area of my welcome page.
The otherside, I still want the sidebar appears on the right side of my page.

ReplyI just had a very small issue.
I don't want my About me to be shown on the landing page. Would you recommend showing it or not? And for some reason, the testimonial is going above my call to action section, and my "white space" is not created between the footer and the call to action. Is there a way to change it?
Do you use Zoom? I have helped a few here by sharing my screen via zoom so they can see me as I go through the steps, the visual tends to help them.
I have only been going for 2 months so my selection of products from the affiliate companies are a little scant. Therefore my text widgets are also a little scant. Will I just run and fix/upgrade as I go.
