2. Include your signature in your outgoing emails
This is the process whereby you simply include your signature (Domain name) in your outgoing emails so that your recipients see your domain name at the bottom of every email sent out to them at any point in time.
Almost all the email service providers would allow you to include your signature in your outgoing emails by changing your signature settings in your account. But once you've chosen automatic signatures to be sent along with all of your emails, it's going to show up automatically at the bottom of every email sent out.
The side advantage of including your domain signature in your outgoing emails is that it increases your site traffic and you eventually get more sales if your blog is about making sales and conversions.
3. Participate actively on online forums
It's awesome to participate actively on online forums (Especially on high Page Rank forums). If there was a hidden secret formula for building blog readership at all, I would have referred to this one as the hidden secret formula.
For years now, I've been active on several forums creating threads and posting replies frequently. The problem a lot of veterans out there are having today is that they don't keep to being consistent neither do they work persistently.
So, they quickly judge and conclude within themselves that it's hard to make money online while hundreds of consistent bloggers in the different parts of the world are earning big checks monthly from affiliate programs, advertising, freelance writing and many more.
Online forums are a great way to get massive amounts of traffic to your blog provided you contribute actively to the discussions. Online forums are stimulating ways to build high quality links back to your blog and, thus, to produce real-time traffic for your blog. And, So, with your active participation, you will surely get a good Page Rank in Google using online forums. You also get referral traffic back to your blog through your forum signature.
It's only that you must be careful not to violate any of their terms as that could lead to getting your account banned in a lifetime.
As you say, regarding SEO, there is so much you can find on the internet. The problem is that for beginners, there is so much and it can be hard to make out what is good and not so good advice. Thankfully then, there are people like you that can condense some of the mysteries into understandable format for us not yet there.
Reading through your post I have a couple of questions though:
- Regarding participating in forums you write: "Especially on high Page Rank forums". Would you care to give a couple of examples of those forum and the attributes of such forums?
- Regarding SEO you write "then make sure to follow pros who have higher traffic". Do you have good tips on how to find these pros with high rankings?
