6. Create an advertising space on your blog as a way of earning extra income
If your blog is already generating enough search engine traffic daily, then it's time to compliment your earnings. It's time to maximize your daily traffic to earn some fat checks from your blog. Create a space on your blog and start earning from advertising traffic.
It's not compulsory to sell advertising space on your own blog, but you may occasionally need this money and decide to do it for a while.
7. Write attention-grabbing comments on blogs
When you're writing your comments, make sure to leave only genuine, valuable and authentic ones at all times. Do not just leave comments for the sake of doing it but get yourself noticed on authority bloggers' blogs with your quality comments.
Make sure your comments are of high quality/standard, usually in 3-5 paragraphs and offer your comments frequently every week.
Someday, those bloggers to whom you've been offering your comments so far will visit your blog once they've noticed your consistency in frequently leaving valuable and genuine comments on their blogs. They will see you as a contributor to their online progress and, they wouldn't ever want to disregard the contribution you have made to their business.
8. Be natural and make fun.
Being natural is most needed while creating content. Unless you've trained yourself to be natural while creating content, writing will become a great problem or challenge for you. And you may eventually get frustrated.

As you say, regarding SEO, there is so much you can find on the internet. The problem is that for beginners, there is so much and it can be hard to make out what is good and not so good advice. Thankfully then, there are people like you that can condense some of the mysteries into understandable format for us not yet there.
Reading through your post I have a couple of questions though:
- Regarding participating in forums you write: "Especially on high Page Rank forums". Would you care to give a couple of examples of those forum and the attributes of such forums?
- Regarding SEO you write "then make sure to follow pros who have higher traffic". Do you have good tips on how to find these pros with high rankings?

In response to your second question, there are hundreds of pros in the online world that are blogging in your respective niche. So, in order to identify who you should follow among the niche-related bloggers, take a look at the top 10 on the first page of your respective searches in Google.
