So now you have a great website, what you need now is some traffic to see your great website...
You need Google's search engines to find you as well as your intended audience. It is essential that your website stand out from the crowd.
How do you do this I hear you ask?
By engaging in communities in your niche. This is where you will get genuine traffic.
Think very carefully about which communities you engage with to make sure that is your intended audience.
If you go out and find websites in your niche with large followings, a few well placed comments can work. The trick is not to come off sleazy. You need to be genuine with your comments and as Kyle has said here, meaningful and not less than 25 words, more is better.
A well written comment will attract attention. Just look through other people's comments and most you will find don't have a lot of depth so you will find there is very little competition there.
Then you can write a fantastic review of the website on your website with a link. Most successful businesses will probably have a Google alert which will let them know if someone has written something about them.
If you are lucky they may read and love your review and put a link to your website. This will drive some traffic to you.
The more interaction you get on your website the higher you will be ranked with Google.
