The first step is to log into your Google Analytics account.

Once you've done that, your next step is to go straight to your ADMIN's tab.

Go ahead and Click on ADMIN to get the ball rolling.

Once you clicked on Admin, you will notice three columns called...

  • Account
  • Property
  • View

You will need to go to the View column to get rid of these referrals. The First Area is in your view settings area.

Go ahead and click on view settings.

Now what you want to do is to make sure that the bot filtering box is checked. If it's not, go ahead and check that box, scroll down and click save at the bottom.

The "ecrect.Google .com-Vote for trump" referrals and the compliance-[name] .xyz are both ghost spam, as you state.

You must apply a couple of filters in order to prevent this fake traffic. This step by step guide should help you.
