I have my grades from 1972-3 and instantly remembered the old scheduling grid which guided us through the schooldays. I don't know why but it completely came in front of me and I wrote much later.
My memory served me. The same grid is still being used today there!
It appealed to me that I could use such a system right now, something I've already been exposed to, for small projects that make up campaigns. This could be a six-or-so-hours in a day and get a hand in on everything needing attention.
I've since duplicated part of this scheduling to evening times (as morning) for extra slots to work out tasks earlier.
Each would be good for writing articles and doing research. I took the schedule, put my things in it and puts the whole day in order.
It Does Not Have to Be a High School Schedule.
Any scheduling system you work with will work perfectly fine! However it must suit your needs, and for my illustration here, it is just a system I adopted.
I have been working with Google Calendar. It is a WONDERFUL interface! At first I was not sure it would help my case, but when I found it was possible to customize your time slots (odd times in my schedule.) It is an extremely attractive tool, and so far, finding easy to work with. More in another lesson.
Another fine offering out there is the Simpleology application which is free to use. The Pro is better, but this can also help out.

Yes, you should draft out your schedule and work it out. You can use any of the tools and methods above, but the important things here...
Get a system up and running
Run with it!
