PAGE 4 – How to Get More Exposure for your Tweets

If you want to gain more traffic to your website there are two sure ways to do it. Get good enough Google rankings to make it onto Page One and stay there and use Social Media to share your website links directly to people and your target audience. In this brief training I will explain how to do that using Twitter.

YOUR TWEET ACTIVITY HAS YOUR ANSWERS

If you remember in my last Twitter training I talked about a new Twitter feature that now allows you to track the progress of your Tweet. This is called the Tweet Activity card. If you haven’t seen this training yet, here is the link.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-us...

To access the Tweet Activity card you need to click on the vertical bar graph icon at the bottom of the Tweet, as seen in the image below.

This will display various statistic of how well your Tweet is doing. Below are a list of what you could see and what their meanings are.

Impressions: Times a user is served a Tweet in timeline or search results

Engagements: Total number of times a user interacted with a Tweet. Clicks anywhere on the Tweet

Retweets: Times a user retweeted the Tweet

Favorites: Times a user favorited the Tweet

Follows: Times a user followed you directly from the Tweet

Replies: Times a user replied to the Tweet

Link clicks: Clicks on a URL in the Tweet

Hashtags clicks: Clicks on hashtag(s) in the Tweet

Media engagements: Clicks to view a photo or video in the Tweet

Details expands: Clicks on the Tweet to view more details

Profile clicks: Clicks on the name, @handle or photo of the Tweet author

You are welcome Val. I guess it's because I spend almost as much time on social media than on my website, taking advantage of the free advertisement that social media really is and learning from it.

Thank you Rosie. As I said to Marty below, a couple of WA members had asked me how to increase the traffic to their websites using Twitter. Obviously like all social media you hope that your link gets reshared or in this case retweeted.

I use specific hashtags that when added to your tweets will automatically get them retweeted. And I do not see anyone from WA who I follow on Twitter using these hashtags, so I felt that people should know about them.

Wthout sounding like too much of an idiot....I had heard of such type of hashtags, but didn't know the what and how. Thank you for this; have to basically rebuld everything again from the ground up (everything was at a stanstill a little too long). This is fine, I enjoy the challenge....this will be of so much help.

Thanks Marty. They do all work well together. I did this because I had a couple of members ask me how can they increase traffic to their websites using Twitter.

I use specific hashtags that can help anyone who uses them to get more exposure on Twitter, which in turn can increase the traffic to their website.
