When it comes to any kind of social media you don’t want people to just “like” your posts / tweets, but you want them to re-share / retweet it. The more this happens the better the chance that you may get a sale.
But many people are either too lazy or they feel that by helping you they do not get anything in return. However on Twitter you can get retweets without relying so much on other people if you use the correct hashtags. More on this in just a bit.
WHICH TWEET ACTIVITY IS BETTER
On the previous page I said that when you click on the vertical bar graph at the bottom of the tweet it will open up the Tweet Activity Card. Take a look at the one below of a tweet I made 7 days ago.
LOOKS IMPRESSIVE, RIGHT? 434 Impressions within 7 days and it was engaged 9 times. Well even though those are great numbers, I would not call it a really successful tweet. Above average yes but not successful and here is why.
The above Tweet Activity Card I consider to be successful. Why would I say a tweet that got 1 less total engagement and 24 less impressions is better? Because it has “Link Clicks” and it has 2 of them! Remember from page 1, a Link Clicks are clicks on a URL in the Tweet.
This particular tweet within 3 days got 410 impressions and it got 3 Retweets too! So that means from somewhere in all of that I got 2 people to click on my link and THAT is why you tweet your website links, so you can get people to click on your links and increase the traffic to your website and perhaps get a sale.
