Well here I am for another training on how to use Twitter for Social Media Marketing of your website content. If you want to get more traffic to your website and thus more customers, you could wait the months for your content to reach page one of Google, if it ever gets there, or you could use social media and present it to your target audience.
If you have not viewed Part One of this training, I highly recommend that you do because you will learn some things about Twitter that I am sure you never knew before. Plus you will get a better understanding of how to Tweet, what are hashtags, and how to use them. To view Part 1 of the training, click the below link.
How to Use Twitter for Social Media Marketing Part 1...
TWEET WITH IMAGES
They say a picture is worth a thousand words and using images in our website content is important for better reading by our website visitors. They provide a better User Experience (UX) and the same holds true for sending Tweets on Twitter. Look at the below image of the Twitter Home Page newsfeed. Do you see how boring I looks?
Judging by the above image, if your Tweet were one of them, do you think it would stand out and capture someone’s attention or do you think it would get kind of lost among the rest of them? It is just like our website content, there needs to be something visual to break up the normalcy of the page. So now take a look at the below image and see if something stands out.
The Tweet with the image of the smartphone really stands out among the rest doesn’t it? And that is why it is important to use an image or video in your Tweets, so it captures the attention of those who scan the Twitter Home Page newsfeed.
YOUR PROFILE FEED IS THE SAME
The same holds true for your Twitter Profile Page. All of your Tweets and Retweets will appear here and you also want things to stand out. The reason for this is that if someone sees an interesting Tweet you posted, they are more inclined to check out your Profile Page to see what else you have. Your Tweets will stand out if they have relevant images as seen below.
