If you want to gain more traffic to your website there are two sure ways to do it. Get good enough Google rankings to make it onto Page One and stay there and use Social Media to share your website links directly to people and your target audience. In this brief training I will explain how to do that using Twitter.

If you remember in my last Twitter training I talked about a new Twitter feature that now allows you to track the progress of your Tweet. This is called the Tweet Activity card. If you haven’t seen this training yet, here is the link.

To access the Tweet Activity card you need to click on the vertical bar graph icon at the bottom of the Tweet, as seen in the image below.
This will display various statistic of how well your Tweet is doing. Below are a list of what you could see and what their meanings are.
Impressions: Times a user is served a Tweet in timeline or search results
Engagements: Total number of times a user interacted with a Tweet. Clicks anywhere on the Tweet
Retweets: Times a user retweeted the Tweet
Favorites: Times a user favorited the Tweet
Follows: Times a user followed you directly from the Tweet
Replies: Times a user replied to the Tweet
Link clicks: Clicks on a URL in the Tweet
Hashtags clicks: Clicks on hashtag(s) in the Tweet
Media engagements: Clicks to view a photo or video in the Tweet
Details expands: Clicks on the Tweet to view more details
Profile clicks: Clicks on the name, @handle or photo of the Tweet author
