1. Give context
Remember that all the pinner has without the description is an image without any context. Ask yourself some questions to help create that context for pinners.
    - What does the image represent to you?
    - How is your pin helpful to pinners?
    - What do you want them to do?

Here is a cute image of a baby dress but without any context, pinners have no idea what size baby it will fit, so they are likely to ignore it.
  2. Use a direct quote or testimonial
A direct quote from a post or a short testimonial can be effective.
  3. Use the 'you' word
This makes people feel you’re talking directly to them and addressing their needs or problems.
  4. Put yourself in their shoes
Give them engaging information and facts.
  5. Collect good examples
Think about what makes you click on a pin and repin it. Watch how other people describe their pins and keep a file of good examples you can refer to.
  6. Be creative
(It’s similar to writing engaging headlines - see my previous training on How to create Clickable Headlines)

Use adjectives. appeal to the senses, introduce some fun or humor and try to add your own personal touch.

Thank you.

In fact I never add any description. Instead, alt text shows automatically. So the job is done already when I add picture to the post.

I put keyword usually in the picture file name, so again this is done already in the post, no need for extra job.
