When creating your Pretty Link slug, the slug is what comes after the domain name, naturally they all need to be unique. If you should create a link that is already taken, Pretty Link will tell you. This can be seen in the image below with the error message just under the Pretty Link logo.

The slug I had chosen “how-to-make-money-at-wealthy-affiliate” was already taken. So I added the word “long” so it would read, “how-long-to-make-money-at-wealthy-affiliate” and then I clicked Create at the bottom of the screen, see below image.

Once I created the link successfully the Pretty Link Links menu screen appears and you will see your newly created Pretty Link on the right side of the screen in the gray shaded box. The target URL will be below it and the Link Title on the left side, see below image.
