Mailchimp Signup forms and response emails are in the English language by default and have recommended tabs for fields and buttons.

The Translate it tab enables you to translate your signup form and answer emails into a different language and customizing default text. Allows you modify default text on form buttons or in error messages. MailChimp offers support for more than 50 languages.

Steps to Work.

This tab is where you can enable or customize translation for your forms and response emails into one of more than 50 supportive languages.

You can also modify the default text to better fit your brand like changing the subscribe button to say “sign up” instead of “Subscribe to list.”

To change the field label from the English default, choose the language you want to use to from the set default language drop down menu.

If you want, you can set your Text to read right to left.

To change the any of the default text, type what you want for each phrase in the provided field.

Click save translation settings when you finish your editing.

The phrases are different for each form and response email, so check each to make sure it says what you want.

You can also edit or manually translate text in the context box surrounded by a red dash line. The system does not translate Head text or custom field text or label. To change the field table, edit the text from the build it tab.

Mailchimp auto translation feature is a great option to manage customers who speak many languages. If you have clients who speak a different language from English, the auto-translation tool will identify a subscriber’s web browser language and show the forms and response emails in that language. To turn on this option click the auto translate button.

Like the default language button option, head text or custom field text or label will not be translated for each language and will always display in the language used in the form builder.

Tasks 0/3 completed

This was a very helpful tutorial. However, when I get to the end of the process and get my code I am unable to get it to link to either a general form or a pop up form. I used the text widget and then went to the text tab to add code. My site just shows the code and not the form. I tried a Custom HTML widget which produced the same results. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

If you go to your widgets section in Wordpress, you can add the html code to your sidebar, or wherever else you would like to put it. I just add mine to my sidebar widget.

Thanks! Also I added it but when people subscribe they see my physical address, is there a way to remove that?

Oh, I'm not sure. I haven't had that problem. I would post a separate question so the WA community can help you with that
