Design it has the Page, Body, Forms, or MonkeyRewards tabs that help to edit the style, color, font, and graphics, also edit the page and frame layout of your signup form and response emails.

You can use the Background, Header, and Outer wrapper menus to select the styles, colors, and fields for the page section. Mailchimp saves all changes are automatically. Click Save & Close, when you’re satisfied with your form look.

Every change you make in the design, like changing background color or font, is inherited by all your other pages and response emails. Helps in saving time for you and building a brand consistency for all the pages your subscribers will interact. You don’t have to edit again on different pages. Though sometimes it may be the disadvantage when you want to create different designs on different pages.

Steps to Work.

The default design in your signup form in your response email is dark text on a white foreground set against a gray background. The design it tab is where you can change the look of your form and response email to match your preferences or brand. Designs that are made on this tab apply to all forms and response emails to your list and cannot be changed form by form.

A red highlight will appear on the area on the form or email you are editing that helps you see the section you are editing.

The page section is where you make changes to the background, header, and wrapper to your form.

By default, the name of your list is the header. If you want, you can change the text or use an image instead.

In the body section, you can change the foreground color and set the font and link style.

The forms section is where you change the button styling and choose the font styles for your fields, help texts and error text.

The last part is the monkey rewards badge. From here, you can change the monkey award badge that appears on your form and response email. The badge is required on free accounts but can be turned off or on for paid accounts.

This was a very helpful tutorial. However, when I get to the end of the process and get my code I am unable to get it to link to either a general form or a pop up form. I used the text widget and then went to the text tab to add code. My site just shows the code and not the form. I tried a Custom HTML widget which produced the same results. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

If you go to your widgets section in Wordpress, you can add the html code to your sidebar, or wherever else you would like to put it. I just add mine to my sidebar widget.

Oh, I'm not sure. I haven't had that problem. I would post a separate question so the WA community can help you with that
