On the previous page I showed you an exact example of what a WA member wrote for their website and gave you the three keywords they were trying to rank for. Then I showed you my example of content that I would create using the same exact three keywords.
TARGET KEYWORD IN TITLE
When at all possible you want to place your target keyword in the title of your page or post. Though for best results it should be as close to the beginning of that title, anywhere in that title will accomplish the desired results of Google ranking you for it.
Of the three targeted keywords that were used in the example on the previous page, Designer Coats for Women has the best Jaaxy results. Though the author used it correctly in the title, it could have been used in other ways and still ranked well in Google. Below are some examples.
- Designer Coats for Women Review [What was used by the author and myself]
- The Designer Coats for Women Review
- A Review of Designer Coats for Women
- The Best Designer Coats for Women Review
- A Review of the Best Designer Coats for Women
- Ladies Fashions - Designer Coats for Women Review
All of the above examples would tell Google the target keyword you want to rank for is Designer Coats for Women. Take note of that last example where I have the target keyword appear after Ladies Fashions -. In this example the words “Ladies Fashions” is the actual page title.
ADDING YOUR KEYWORD LATER
If you are wondering how can you rank for your target keyword if the actual page title does not include that keyword, the answer is simple. You need to add your target keyword to the Meta Title AFTER your page title has been saved. I explain the process in another tutorial at the link below.
Keywords-Things You Need To Know For SEO Rankings
In this example you have a page on your website called Ladies Fashions but you also want your target keyword of Designer Coats for Women to appear in the search results. Adding it to your Meta Title in the All in One SEO Pack area under the WordPress editor will accomplish this.
Now when someone is looking at your website they see a page called Ladies Fashions. However when searching Google for your target keyword Google will show, Ladies Fashions - Designer Coats for Women. This is how to get your keyword to appear with a different page title.
