Yes, I will have to break up this training into parts because there is just too much to cover in one tutorial. Being that I prefer to be as clear as possible with the use of images, my tutorials tend to be longer than most.
Now you may be asking, why doesn’t Robert do video training? It would be simpler and easier to show something in a video as opposed to multiple pictures, but I have a perfectly good reason why I do not do videos. Again I agree with Kyle’s reason. A text tutorial can easily be edited and a video cannot. So if something happens that requires me to make a change a month from now, I can.
HOW TO POST ON GOOGLE PLUS
Though you can post your content from the G+ share buttons on your website, for the better results I prefer to manually post on my Google+ profile. And for this training I will be sharing my Wealthy Affiliate Review on my profile. So I have now copied the URL of the review and I am on my Google+ profile. I want to now locate near the top, where it says, “Share what’s new…”
I will now click in that box to type my sales pitch. As soon as I click in the box it will open to a bigger UI (User Interface) that allows me different options for how I share this WA Review. As you take note of this in the below image, notice how I have typed my content of text, namely the use of the asterisks * and the underscores _.
When you use an asterisk immediately before and after a word or words, it will make them bold and the underscore will make them italicized. Then I always finish the snippet of text with one to three hashtags that are relevant to what I am posting. Remember from my training on how to use Twitter, a hashtag is like using a keyword in your website content.
Now in the empty bar proceeded by the word “To:” this is where you set who will see your post. NOTE: This bar will only be blank if it is your first time sharing on Google+. If you have shared something before, it will display the setting you used prior. I cleared mine for the sake of this training.
Click on the bar next to “To:” and a drop down menu will appear, see above image. When you follow people on Google+ you put them in “Circles” which are labeled groups. I have a circle of just WA followers, and others for Friends, Internet Marketers, Video Game Fans, Natural Health,… Setting up circles is great because it allows you to interact with a specific group of people. More on this later.
For maximum exposure you want to share your content to everyone on Google+ and to do that you would select the “Public” setting. However to make sure it gets to everyone in your circles AND the people in their circles (even if you do not follow them), you need to select “Extended Circles.” When you mouse-over the setting, it will tell you what it does, see image above.

Though the Authorship aspect of Google+ is no more, it is still helpful in building up author rank and giving Google a way to better connect my Google+ profile to my website.
Quick question about adding links. I just paste my link right where I type my description and then the link is automatically generated to pull up my site. Is it better to actually manually attach the link they way you do?
I used to do it the way you are doing it but later found out in a Google community that you should only do it that way when you post a picture.
When you are posting just the link like I did in this training, you should use the Link attachment so that it passes some "link juice" for better rankings.
