Stream Key
On the right-hand side of the screen layout, once again you can see the URL where you can find your LIVE video. The Persistent Stream Key, Back Stream Key, and the Stream Key are the API (Application Programming Interface) for Facebook to interact with other software.
When you click on Persistent Stream Key, this is a constant key generated by Facebook. You can use it over and over again when you broadcast live. However, you can only do one LIVE video at a time. I have not use the Backup Stream yet. It is available for you if you need it. You can leave it on or off. Your choice. It does not impact anything.
Last but not least is the Stream Key. The stream key is also the code that you will use as your API to interact with other software. Facebook generates a new one every time you enter Facebook LIVE. It is valid for 7 days. You will use one of the three Stream Key for what you need. In this example, I used The Stream Key.
For stream and viewing settings, you can leave it as is. No changes are necessary unless you want to restrict the viewing. The instructions are pretty straightforward.
Very informative. I can see why you didn't put the multiple platform streaming in to this one. I would love to see a tutorial of the multiple platforms use when you get a chance. Don't feel pressured to do it straight away or anything. I'm just so happy to see how it all works. I have been loving your Facebook Live Tutorials.
Thank you for your efforts.
