A New feature button was added “Upcoming Live Videos”. When you click this you will see the above layout. This allows for you to edit or view your scheduled post. This is an excellent feature. In the past, this was not possible. Once you logged out and/or shut down the computer, you cannot retrieve the scheduled posting.

LATEST UPDATE

Happy New Year 2011 -- Today is 1/11/2021. FB added new updates since I posted my tutorial. Here are the updates that I found helpful for FB schedule LIVE broadcast:

Two new options:

  1. Upcoming Live Videos & Events – This option has been updated since last May 2020 with additional features and less buggy.

    When you click on this option a new window appears which allows you to edit or view the scheduled event. There is also three little dots to the right. When click on the dots, you have the option to copy Live Video URL, copy page URL, or Cancel Broadcast.
  2. Settings – this is helpful in having control for different options such as 180/360 video, captions, and/or who can send you messages while LIVE.
    1. Stream – added “Broadcast this as a spherical video”
    2. Viewing – added
      1. Turn on auto-generated captions
      2. Allow Viewers to message you
    3. Comments - This option is NEW for more control over comments.

    Great tutorial Ha,
    Very informative. I can see why you didn't put the multiple platform streaming in to this one. I would love to see a tutorial of the multiple platforms use when you get a chance. Don't feel pressured to do it straight away or anything. I'm just so happy to see how it all works. I have been loving your Facebook Live Tutorials.
