Conclusion
This is Facebook control panel image. Click End Live Video bar when you are completed.
Now you are done. Congratulations on going Live using “Schedule a Live Video”.
Initially, I was going to include how to create or include multiple platforms such as your computer screen and streaming of you at the same time. However, we will need to add other software to the instructions. There are more information than I anticipated.
This can get confusing quickly. For this tutorial, I introduced the Stream Key and API which we will use as our key to interact with another software. I want to make it as simple and clear as possible so that you can be successful in setting up your own Live Video.
Just re-cap, you can set “Go Live Now” or “Schedule a Live Video” with Facebook and your existing camera and speaker. However, you can post only one screen at a time and switch back and forth between the two. The platform can be a streaming of you, a browser, a software, a video, or your computer screen. All this is using “Use Camera”.
To have multiple screen or multiple platform streaming at the same time, we will need the assistance of another software. To do this, we will change from selecting “Use Camera” to “Use Stream Key” or “Use paired Encoder”. I will save this for the next tutorial.
Remember to CLICK LIKE if you find it helpful. Please leave me your comments, questions, or concerns. I have created a third tutorial using Stream Key for setting up multiple screens for Live streaming. Please visit https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-stream-a-liv.... *** NEW UPDATE from LIVE Facebook as of May 2020 **
I am adding a new tab for the update. This update is very helpful for scheduling your posting.
Very informative. I can see why you didn't put the multiple platform streaming in to this one. I would love to see a tutorial of the multiple platforms use when you get a chance. Don't feel pressured to do it straight away or anything. I'm just so happy to see how it all works. I have been loving your Facebook Live Tutorials.
Thank you for your efforts.
