In this tutorial, we will show step-by-step instructions on how to “Schedule a Live Video” using Facebook.
What is “Schedule a Live Video”?
Originally, I thought that schedule a Live Video means I would record myself ahead of time, schedule the Live video and then allow Facebook to play it back. However, this is not the case. This scheduling is only setting a time frame to advertise, get my logistics ready, and then go Live at a designated time. I can play a video during the Live segment however, I still have to be Live interacting with the audience. I hope that makes sense.
Why do we want to schedule a live video? One main reason why we want to schedule a live video is to make an announcement ahead of time for more people to show up to our presentation. This will give us time to advertise, prepare, and bring in as many viewers to our Live presentation as possible.
Very informative. I can see why you didn't put the multiple platform streaming in to this one. I would love to see a tutorial of the multiple platforms use when you get a chance. Don't feel pressured to do it straight away or anything. I'm just so happy to see how it all works. I have been loving your Facebook Live Tutorials.
