3. Add the pretty link plugin to your empty website.

You have now landed on your WordPress website edit dashboard. At the moment you'll not need much to know here but of course, if you're interested you can now already build your new website.

If you'd like to do that I recommend starting with the green "Get Started Here" training.

For my little shortcut training, you want to add this pretty link plugin now. On the left you see all these options you can edit the website. Click on "plugins" or "Add New" in the pop-up.

Make sure you are on the "add plugins" page and look at the right top. There you find a small search bar. Enter "pretty link" and wait a sec.

On the left, the first of all plugins you should now see the add, "short links by pretty links". Click install now.

And click activate. That's all for now here. You were now moved to the installed plugins page. On the left, on the dashboard, almost at the bottom you see the pretty link sign now.

Later you'll have to hover over this and click "Add New Link"

Don't close this tab, for now, you'll be right back.

First, we now go and get our affiliate link here in WA.

Tasks 0/2 completed
1. Add new pretty link plugin
2. Install and activate it

You will want a standard account but probably a business account with PayPal.

Hi Stefan, thanks for this nice training.
However, I was wondering if you could share some nice tips on how to grow my social following especially FB.

Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick, thanks for commenting.

A higher speed in getting followers on FB might be by following groups, groups about your niche if you are looking for a special group of people.
I applied joining different FB groups in the MMO niche. They actually all accepted me.
There you can post your latest website articles and if allowed also promotions for products/services you sell.
If you get involved in discussions in these groups you might find people wanting to follow you on FB.

I also created my own FB group, this is where I first post all my new articles. From there I share them to other places.

It's a plug-in that makes the permalink (URL link) shorter and nicer. I think you will go through the training but here is some more info.
