BEWARE USING CRAIGSLIST
When using Craigslist to find items to sell on eBay you need to be very careful. Unless you can actually handle and ship the products yourself, do not agree to have the Craigslist seller mail the items for you like a drop shipper. There are many shady people on Craigslist. In my next eBay training tutorial I will be going into further detail on how to spot them.
But for now, when using Craigslist for finding items to sell on eBay, just use them for finding garage sales and sellers willing to send you the products to mail. DO NOT agree to sell designer items or perfumes and colognes. Most often they will be fakes. Items that are often fakes and sold as authentic are
- New perfume and cologne
- Designer handbags like Coach, Louis Vuitton, Hermes,…
- Designer clothing accessories like leather belts, watches, jewelry,…
- New athletic shoes and popular basketball shoes
- Popular DVD bodybuilding programs like P90X3
Whenever you are not sure of the authenticity of something, go to YouTube and look it up. It is better to be safe than sorry for selling counterfeit items on eBay. When selling designer items, if new, they should all come with either a valid store/manufacturer receipt and/or a certificate of authenticity.
IN MY NEXT EBAY TRAINING
In my next tutorial I will be going into detail about drop shipping and why you need to avoid bogus programs like DS Domination that do not teach real drop shipping. I will also be revealing my favorite wholesalers directories, and how to spot a fake eBay seller on Craigslist.

Oh and one more tip… When creating your product descriptions in eBay, make sure you are detailed in your descriptions. The more information you provide your potential buyers, the better your chances of making a sale. If you should ever be on eBay, you can do an advanced search for “idak01” which is my user ID and see how I normally create my descriptions.
