How to Reply to Fake Reviews

Talking about fake reviews, businesses ask if anything can be done to battle against fakes. It’s observed that 15% - 30% of online reviews aren’t genuine. Fake reviews are a bit sensitive; here is how you can handle them:

  • If someone ever leaves you a false review, simply find the review site’s TOS or FAQ page. Find out how to report or flag the review as false.
  • Don’t respond to the review unless it’s not permitted to flag reviews as fake on the review site.
  • Don’t abuse them. That will make your business look deficient.
  • Build a review marketing tactic that allows your brand to receive fresh positive reviews consistently.
