1. Rework on your Best Performing Post

Looking into your write up maybe another source of inspiration; you do not have to look outside all the time.

Take a look at your best post; Google analytics will help you identify performing blog posts. This is reliable because the metrics are based on pages visited by your audience and the time spent on each page and each visit.

Take a review of this old post that are highly productive, this will reignite new ideas that you can work on.

My understandings are: your website need to be indexed and ranked higher by Google, then, it will be previewed by a large number of people. So you need to write 2-3 posts on every week.
Then, your website has about 100 posts within a year. I have never seen such a large website which carries 100 posts and I will not have time reading all of them. But why it is so important to write and publish posts constantly? Could anyone explain it?
Thank you very much.

Millions of websites have over 100 pages/posts. You have to publish on a regular schedule so that Google see's your website as an active site and not dormant. That is how you gain authority, along with good content and social engagement etc.

Hi - actually, 100 posts is considered a small amount when it comes to websites. Many of them have thousands of posts. Members here who are promoting WA, have said they didn't really start seeing a huge amount of success until they had over 400 posts.

Adding content on a regular basis shows that your site is active, and the more posts you have, the more authority you are showing in your subject, which leads to higher rankings.

I thought that you select PAGE only when you publish "Private Policy". Could you tell me how to decide to select either PAGE or POST when you publish something? Regarding publish regularly, is it all right if we do once or twice per month?

If you have a website with 400 posts promoting WA, what kind of content each post should have? All the posts have to be related to WA or some of different subjects are acceptable? Subjects people want to know, for example, how to negotiate pay raise with your employer or which food you should never eat, or just an interesting story which you create?

Hi - as you are promoting WA, then your website is considered to be in the make money online niche. Therefore, all your posts should relate to different ways to make money or reviews of tools, programs or products that help people to make money.

You shouldn't go completely off-topic, for example by talking about food, music, travel etc. That would confuse your visitors, and Google would not see you as an authority on your subject.

Ideally, you need to be adding a minimum of 2 posts per week at a minimum of 1000 words each.

Regarding different TOPICS related to make money includes making money in off line? Or it has to be making money on line only?

I was given an advice in the below from someone before. According to that, TOPICS can be anything for the targeted audiences. If the audiences are unemployed or dislocated workers, topics can be anything about job search or trainings. If the audiences are seniors, topics can be like the best places to retire in the world or health and fitness for seniors. That is my understanding so far but if I am wrong, could you please advice me? Thank you for your help.

"create 6 or so posts that are answering questions within your niche - so if you are targeting stay at home mums then find the questions they are asking and use those as keywords - check jaaxy and google for low competition.
then add a couple of reviews of products - so you could do wa and jaaxy

then also create a pillar post of 4k words - this is one which shows that you understand your niche and would be a higher competition keyword - so again stay at home mums niche you could do stay at home mum jobs and go through the whole topic.

the review will not link out to other articles on your site - but there will be a lot of
carry on creating content - maybe answer a few questions about your niche and if possible link to your wa review.
crate maybe half a dozen question answers and then a couple of reiews and maybe a core information article - this one wil ltake a higher competition keyword and require a thorough answer covering the whole of the topic- so will be 4k words or so..."

Hi - you are within the MMO niche which stands for Make Money Online. However, I believe it would be acceptable to add some posts which relate to making money offline.

As regards the advice, note the first sentence "answering questions within your niche". So, yes, you have to bear in mind your targeted audience, but in the context of your audience + your niche. So, if your audience is seniors and your niche is making money online, then the topics should be related to both. Health and fitness would be irrelevant. Seniors seeking advice on making money would not be interested in unrelated topics.

Thank you for answering my questions so many times.
I see. Contents have to be relevant to the niche. Christopher mentioned "social engagement", but I do not understand what does mean to write contents for social engagement. Do you have any idea?

What he answered me.

Hi - you should be asking for comments on your posts from other WA members. That shows Google that people are visiting your site and reading your posts, that people are engaging with your site.

You just explained about "Social Engagement", right? When I have hundreds of posts on my website, should I get comments on all of them?

I have two more questions:

1. When you publish a post, you also need to make a menus tab for each post either side or top. If a website has hundreds of posts, a visitor will see all the tabs or just see one tab?

2. People here write a blog. What is a blog exactly? Is it a part of a post which you publish regularly or something different? Does a blog have to be relevant to the niche? And how often you should write it for per website?

Thank you.

Hi - as you write each post, you should ask for comments on it as soon as you can, rather than wait until you have hundreds of posts. You can add your website to the thread I have linked below. Remember, its a pay it forward ethos. If you are asking for comments, then in return, you should be commenting on other member's websites. You should organise your posts by category. Then in your top navigation menu, you have tabs for the categories, and add posts to the relevant category. Here is a reminder on how to create menus. Are you talking about the blog posts you write here for other members at WA to read? You don't have to write them. They are just what people do to let other members know they are getting on in their business.

Or do you mean on your website? A blog is just the same as a post or an article. They all mean the same thing.

Thank you for the guidances. So I should get comments as soon as I publish a post. Can I ask my friends outside of WA for comments as well?

Someone promote WA in a different niche. I have a screen shot in the below. Is it appropriate way to do it?
Is this a blog roll website? My understanding is the latest post shows up on top (in Home tab) in a blog roll website. However, about me went to the bottom because it is the first post. My website is like this. Is this correct blog roll website?
And a static page website always shows up the first post on Home tab, am I right?

So I need to make some different categories menus on top navigation, then, underneath of it, drop down menus for all the relevant posts.

I thought blog posts you write here for other WA members are also your blogs on your website.

Thank you for your time.

Yes, you can ask your friends.

That looks very odd to be promoting WA on a health site. I can't imagine it would be very successful. If somebody is visiting a site to read about health subjects, they wouldn't even click on those links, they would be of no interest.

Yes, that is exactly what a blog roll website is, newest post at the top. A static page website shows only one post, it doesn't have to be the first one, you can decide which post shows up.

Blog posts written here for other members should not be added to a website as well. That would show up as duplicate content, which Google doesn't like.

Is it all right if I can change a blog roll website to a static page later? From reading setting, I select static page and choose a post from Homepage, then, that post shows up on top, am I right?

I have found where to write a blog to WA members on my profile, but I thought that they wrote from their websites, lol......

As I mentioned to you sometime ago, I am looking to get Amazon account. I have to submit my website to them. My website is a WA promotion but Amazon does not have any products for making money so I need to build another website. I am thinking of a chocolate store. Even just have a chocolate store or so, do we still need to publish posts anything about chocolate twice a week?

Thank you very much.
Reply

Hi - yes, you can change to a static page at any time and you have correctly described the process.

Even with a chocolate store, you need to write blog posts. That is how Google and your visitors will find your website. If all you have is a list of products, then you will be just another shop among the millions already out there and nobody will find you.

You can find Amazon products for your WA site. Imagine what you need to start and run your own business - diaries, planners, even desks and laptops.

So it is better to have a niche which I am able to create a lot of posts. Yes, make money site needs lap top and so on, but I was unable to think of it. Thank you for your advise.

I found a website about cats but WA link is also in there. Is this correct thing to do it? And most of posts are in categories box, is this right? It doesn't look like organizing posts by category as you told me.

Thank you for your time.

One more thing I would like to ask is: sometime we want to change some content of a post we published sometime ago or take it off from the site. Is this affect for Google Ranking? If you publish twice a week, one of those day, can you change some content of post you published previously instead of publish a new post?

Having a niche and building a website in line with your niche is very key to success.

I read one of @dianescorpio advice on this earlier, she is very correct. Don't use other niche websites like that of cats, pets, DIY, etc to sell WA ranking on Google will be very difficult.

Let me shed a little light on ranking on Google.

There are so many articles on google wanting people to read them.

And the easiest way for you to get readers is to find your article on page one when people search. For Google to place your article on page one, they must see your site as an authority site.

Although there is a lot attached to this, one simple way to it is concentrating on your niche and not writing on diverse topics in one website.

WA belongs to make money online, you can build a website and start writing gradually. As you write, more and more ideas will come in that same niche

I wish you all the best

Thank you for instructing me.
I thought that just put one WA affiliate link on entire website might be acceptable, but it is not. Without ranked high by Google, our websites are unable to discover by anyone.

She has advised me that I should publish a post at least twice a week. But I have read a new training by WA member that if writing is not easy for some people, we could write only once a week but publish on every single Wednesday. Honestly, I like this way, but is this a good idea?

You can publish on any schedule you set yourself, but if it is only once per week compared to twice per week, you will have half the amount of content and half the amount of authority within Google after 6-12 months, compared to twice a week. It will therefore take you longer to reach your goals. Remember, most MMO sites require 400 posts before they reach their goals.

Hi! It's me again. LOL.

I enjoyed this training Ayodeji. Bookmarking it now.

Great information. I've been drawn to Quora and Reddit recently for content writing ideas. Because I have received emails based on the the groups I have joined (related to my niche) from each forum. The emails give the "itches" from real people and in real time. I will endeavour to "scratch" those itches in my content writing.

If you know what I mean.

I sometimes get new ideas from the comment section on my website when engaging my audience. When I cannot answer the question satisfactorily. I use that question to generate a new topic for my next article by doing a thorough research on the topic.

You are spot on

Thanks for this great tips.
