The last couple of methods to generate some extra money online that I'm going to talk about today, are paid surveys and Google Mechanical Turk.

When I was very first exploring the internet for ways to make money online, I joined many paid survey programs as a result. Would you like to know how much money I made with them? Nothing.

Most of them only released a survey a month paying around $0.10 if it was relevant to you, (which 75% of the time it isn't). Furthermore, lots of them require you to make a certain amount of money before you can take it out. A typical amount is $10, but I'd be surprised if you could make $10 on some of those sites within 5 years!

Don't get me wrong, not all paid surveys sites suck. There is one called swagbucks.com which is decent and you can actually make a little money with it over time. However, I would generally recommend to stay away from paid survey sites, as you could use your time much better on your website or with any of the other options that I have mentioned.

Next, is Amazon Mechanical Turk. Unfortunately, this is only available to those that live in the U.S, so the likes of myself can't use it, but I have done my research and concluded that you can actually make some quick money from it.

Although the payouts are generally very low, you can actually scrap together a few dollars if you work long enough and therefore it can be pretty handy if you're short of time and need a couple of extra dollars.

I wouldn't recommend it over any of the other options that I have mentioned today, (except surveys) but it was worth mentioning!

I hope you guys have enjoyed my first piece of training (I spent a bit too long on it, lol) and feel free to share your comments and thoughts below and I will be more than happy to help!

However, before I go, I'd like to say thanks to AlexSol for providing some great free images on his image library website, which I have used a couple of in this post! :)

Thanks, I actually already knew about most of these alternatives, also for freelancing you could also try odesk, it is very popular and helpful. Loved the information you had to share though. Very much appreciated :D

Yes, odesk also seems to be a good one, but I never tried it myself. I'm glad you liked the training and thanks a lot for the support :)

No problem :) Also if you join ebay partnership as an affiliate, you barely get any of the profit, but it is still profit. You get most of the profit if you are the one selling the item though.

Yeah, you get a percentage of the revenue that Ebay makes. Ebay often takes 10% from every sale, known as the revenue, and you get a percentage of this. As I mentioned, Ebay is particularly good if you can make people sign up to it - if you can do that, then I would recommend it! Otherwise, it's probably wise sticking with Amazon.

Yeah it definitely is, but I actually do both for particular reasons.
