The data presented on Google Webmaster Tools for your website is very beneficial beyond just what kind of keywords people are typing into the search engines to find your content. You can also get an overview of any type of crawl errors that Google may have found when indexing your website. And you get to see how many Impressions, Clicks, and Click-Trough Rates you have received within a month.

All of this information can be viewed as the website on a whole or as individual pages and posts on your website. Though many think of Google Analytics as the stat-driven Google product they need for their website, which they do, GWT is also very vital for giving you actionable data on your website.

To get a little more clarity on what some of these features are, view the below video by clicking on the link to the video below the image.

Hi Robert, appreciate this information very much. Just yesterday I logged in to GWT and was looking at the information and thought to myself that I should spend more time getting familiar with all the info it provides.

You are welcome Vanessa! There are many more features to GWT than what I explained here and I will be doing another training on those other features in the near future. I just didn't want to cram them all into one training.

But yes, I highly recommend you poke around in GWT. It is how I learned much of what I know now. :)
