Like I said earlier, you do not need to do this with all of your WA blogs and training tutorials. However if you should want to use your blogs to gain referrals, create their titles like you would for your website content, by using a keyword.
In my blog from the other day not only did I do some keyword research for its title but I wrote it in such a way that it promotes WA. If you would like to create a WA blog that talks about your success or the benefits of Wealthy Affiliate, then just find a good low competition keyword to use as the title of the blog.
A HIGHER GOOGLE RANK FOR YOUR WA BLOG
By using the same technique of finding a good keyword to use for the title of your WA blog, you have a good chance to be seen in Google by many non-WA members. When that happens you will be in a better position to gain some referrals.
As you can see in the image above, my WA blog gets indexed into Google very quickly. The image shows that my blog was indexed 18 minutes prior to searching Google with my long tail keyword with a QSR of 0. The blog appears on Page 1 in Position 2.
Now if someone hears about Wealthy Affiliate and searches Google to see how quickly they could make money, they will find my WA blog. As soon as they click on it, the lifetime cookie is set in my favor and whether they join WA right then or later, I will get credit for the referral.
NEXT UP = How this can benefit you in making money with referralsYou also must have made a small fortune from this training this year... 222 Likes and 156 comments. Wow.
I especially liked your tip about including links to WA posts in your website posts. Thanks.
So, If I copy n paste my affiliate links of any of my WA blogs
(that are also hopefully ranking in Google in their own rights)
apply a pretty link of it - do I then put it in my website?
UNLESS you are a network marketer looking to build a loyal following who will join your team call me stupid but I don't see the benefit. Yep I know that posts on WA (blog posts etc) rank higher and faster due to WA's online horsepower BUT ...
IF you would have written all the quality content you posted on WA and instead posted it on your own site have you ever wondered how much better your site may rank now?
Hey, maybe I'm wrong but I'm not a prolific writer. It takes me HOURS even DAYS to write a top quality piece of content so to waste that content on a site that allows me to only sell or promote WA (according to TOS I can't even link to my squeeze page or blog), which means I can't build my list (which is where the big money is really at) just doesn't make sense to me. So ...
Am I missing something?
I just wrote a blog to give through your message The Golden Nugget Online
