For now, you’ve learned a basic approach to page jumps in WordPress on one post/page or from one post/page to another. You can set this page jumps anywhere in your post/page. You can link any word to anywhere. It doesn’t have to be a sub-heading.

If this is the first time you’re creating a page jump, you may want to create a dummy post and play around with it until you get the hang of it. But you don’t have to if you can follow along without problems.

Remember, ONLY use a hashtag (#) in the link code (starting with <a href) and NOT in the target code (starting with<a id). If you do, the page jump won’t work and you need to have the exact wording.

That pretty much concludes this tutorial. If you’ve enjoyed and learned something from this tutorial, I’d appreciate a “Like”.

And don’t forget to comment below if you have a question or need help. Any feedback is appreciated. :)

Thanks for reading.

Thank you Nicole, for this excellent link training. Your example of using XXXX to mark the spot in the html code also works great with emails you want to clean before resending.

Hi Marcel. Happy to hear it was helpful and I agree. Adding some visual marks like XXXX not only helps to find the right spot in the HTML code. :)
