My Final Words

In order to create a list, email marketing software is required, such as Active Campaign, MailerLite, AWeber, or Mailchimp.

It is easy to overlook creating an email list but you will always be disappointed that you didn’t start collecting subscribers as soon as you create your website.

If all you have time to do when you start at least sign up for a free autoresponder and create a pop-up and some automatic emails. Later you can get back and make a push to create a landing page or funnel to build your list bigger and make sales.

Here are some more tutorials to help:

Create a free email collector.

Create a lead funnel in under 15 minutes.

10 proven methods to get more blog subscribers.

To build a successful business you will need to become skilled in promotion and subscriber lists.

Wishing you huge success.

Warm Regards,

Lily

Thanks for this great training, Lily.

It's packed with excellent advice and it's time I took notice and set up email marketing. I paid a monthly fee for 12 months to Aweber but never took advantage of it. That was prior to Aweber offering a free subscription!
I will return to your training asap.

Great to hear Valerie.
Time can certainly get away from us.
MailerLite also offers a free service to 500 subscribers for non MMO websites. Although friends of mine prefer MailChimp as it has an auto RSS feed to send your posts out to your subscribers.

I prefer Aweber and send a newsletter out once a week.
It all takes time to get your head around and set up.
Let me know how you go.

Thanks Lily.
I will let your know how it goes!

I experienced using MailChimp for some business clients when I had my secretarial business. MailChimp and I never came to good terms with each other!! That's more than six years ago.

Yes I found Mailchimp clunky and no help too.

They are a great idea, Jim.
Only keep it short. I started a questionnaire this morning and stopped when it went past 6 questions. It should be fun not a bore.

Great article Lily, Thank you. Quick question how many times normaly you send welcome email sequences until you classified the subscriber into your regular reader? Do you give them another incentive (lead magnet) from time to time to keep them stay (not unsubcribe)?

Hi Kalle,
I usually only have one welcome sequence and then I classify them and start sending my weekly newsletter. In the newsletter, I often offer a free gift or a promotion but not in everyone.

I rarely have people unsubscribe as they don't feel inundated with emails daily. Once a week seems to work for my subscribers and I keep it consistent and send them out to arrive in their email boxes on a Sunday morning so they have time to read them.
