Lastly, use your social media to boost engagement with your posts.

This doesn’t mean spamming your post all over Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Focus!

Do you have a Facebook page set up for your blog? All your blog posts should be shared there. Your friends who follow the page won’t mind seeing posts about your blog therebecause that’s what the page is for.

How about an Instagram page for your blog? Same goes for twitter.
Developing a social media strategy is important.

Also, integrate related articles into your blog’s social media pages so they are more dynamic than just you sharing your blog posts. Most bloggers have friends on their social media who are bloggers too. So when you come across an article that is interesting to you, it’s probably going to be interesting to them too. Share it!

No one wants to see just your blog posts. Adding relevant content along with your own content goes a long way.

When your friends find that you share quality content on a regular basis, they are much more likely to click and read what you share. This includes when you share your blog posts.

Be the friend they go to for great content and you’ll never run out of traffic.

It's good to be over 300 words for sure. The 500-800 range is probably comfortable for most. And sometimes there are posts where you're not even trying to be wordy but you finish and it's in the 1500 range.

As long as you have quality content, that's the key really. I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial. Thank you so much!

So we don't need to write 1500 words?

If you're writing a post and really writing from the heart and doing your best to not only tell a story but *show* the reader how to do something, and you finish up and it's say 700 words, there's no need to go in and try and stretch that content out with filler to get it to 1500.

You have to write naturally, with relevant, quality content.

It's a good idea to not be TOO brief though. An article under 300 words probably could use some more thinking out.

But you don't want to just add words to reach a word count. That's for sure.
