Now you have your account set up and your site verified you can start creating some boards.

What is a board ?

How many of you have or seen a notice board !! exactly this is the same principle you have a picture or a message and you want people to look at it so you would just go and pin it on the board.

Now these can be your own pictures, or you can select something from your own website or the pinterest search bar .please note you are not allowed affiliate links Pinterest will disable them.

Each board you create will need to be named, for instances I have a wedding site therefore I have one named Weddings I have my own pictures and many from followers, others I have selected via the search bar , each week Pinterest also emails me with suggestions. You could look at it this as an exchange of business cards, used correctly it can bring steady traffic.

This is a sample of some of my boards when you click on each board you come up with a lot of images or posts, do not make it all about business have some fun boards to. When I set this one up only had my original niche site now I have another but have highlight it and WA within my bio under my profile image at the top, you will also notice it has a link to your site.

It is very simple to create a new board and pin whatever you want to it, you can easily edit names and pictures I also have a pin button on my browser so if I see something that appeals I just click it and it pins it for me saves time to.
