AIO Social Sharing Sizes

Additionally, I use another image size (same image) for the Social Sharing function of AIO within the post or page.

Now, this one shouldn't depend on your chosen WordPress template. The size I always use is 506 x 253

And, yes, I upload this separately within the social sharing function just below the post/page editor:

You'll notice it then provides the URL of where the image lives within my Media Library. And, I always key in the specific width and height.

Again, AIO is designed to simply pick up the image you selected. But, I have seen so many issues with it. Many times there is another plugin like JetPack causing issues with Facebook or Google retrieving the correct OG tags, but this seems to work every time .... for me!

I check FB, Twitter and Google frequently and this size works great. That being said, here's is the direct note from Facebook on their size for this specific image:

"Use images that are at least 1200 x 630 pixels for the best display on high resolution devices. At the minimum, you should use images that are 600 x 315 pixels to display link page posts with larger images."

The problem with images in the 1200 pixel range is that it takes twice as long for the FB share screen to load it.

It will take a bit of trial an error to get your sizes just right. Be sure to WRITE that down somewhere! The Feature Image size AND the social sharing size.

So, here's what it looks like when I click the share button on this post manually:

And, there is the post on myFacebook Business page

Okay, next up, I'll show you a cool little trick that can help you troubleshoot issues. And, just MAY fix your old posts that aren't sharing out with the intended image!

Grand, PJ.

On page 3 under the social profile link settings image, the first sentence, leave that spelling error in if you wish.
Why?
We all need the wonderful release of a good laugh during the learning process.

PJ, Thanks again for your training. I just ran into something today. When I type my address of my site: http://zootanicals.com I get the dreaded head pic when I'm trying to forward or post on social media. I can make each page do what I want like your training shows but where do I change it so when I type just my main root (my main .com address) the pic I want will appear? Thank you sir.
