So the first thing you need to do is find your categories which will be on your WordPress dashboard under the posts title:

Click on categories and you will see which ones you have created or if you haven't created any you can create them here as well as on your post.

Now you can type in your category and it will be added to all your other categories. These categories here are on my practice site. It is always good to practice on a site you don't mind messing up. Once you have learned the technique then you can apply it to your site that matters.

How do you choose the right category?

This is a great and helpful trainer as has become your custom. Thank you for this and the help you are always so quick to so freely give our family here at WA that serves to make us all stronger.

Question. I love the way you put the Category Widget under your Menu bar. Can we all do this? Can you help me? Is this your theme you are using or did I miss it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

PS. Looking forward to reading the Optin thingy.

Thanks, Teddy, an endorsement from you is like getting one from a film star!

Just drag the widget up to your header banner, is that the question you are asking?

Nope, same poopy theme. Still working through Divi before I throw it into the mix.

Take care my good, good, buddy,
Michael

Thank you for this great lesson Michael. I was actually trying to re-configure my categories today, by adding sub-categories. If I may, can you please let me know the difference between the side categories and what you include in the header? Thanks again ;)

Hi Kristi,

Thanks for the great compliment it is really appreciated.

I notice you mentioned side categories but I am assuming you were meaning sub-categories? It's quite simple to do, go to the post that you want in a sub-category and add it by choosing the parent category and typing in your sub-category. Check the picture, I hope this was your question, if not, PM me if you like. You will see that I added Jim Cockrum as a Sub-Category to Reviews - On Marketers.
