3. Build your Profile

Your Reddit profile does not necessarily say anything about you - but it can be used to promote and build your brand. Creating a strong user profile means getting your Karma up! If you're to be seen as an authority you want to post, share, comment and reply - this will build your Karma and authority.

Marketing your business is making you and your brand a trusted "thought leader" and "knowledge/information provider" in your niche subject area.

Karma points show your reliability and authority. Build Karma by engaging on your selected subreddits....not just posting to them...but reading and sharing others posts...making comment and up-voting others...Karma will be repaid

When selecting a username - match it to your business name....you want your business name to grow...not your personal name.

4. Don't overdo self promotion

Obviously you want to promote your business...but take it easy to begin with. Focus on gaining Karma points. Once your Karma is up and you have shown Reddit engagement it's safe to begin promoting your own content and business more...as you're seen as trusted and an authority.

Reddit users protect their community....if you simply self promote you'll be labelled spam and your Karma will tumble.
