This step is well documented elsewhere, but to briefly go over it I added the new website to Google Search Console and submitted it for indexing for both Desktop and Mobile. The resulting verification code was plugged into the SEO through WordPress®. I also added the website to Google Analytics and transferred the result code ID to the website SEO.

I also added the website to Bing Webmaster Tools, verified the website, then transferred the verification code to the website SEO. The site was then submitted to Bing for indexing.

After verifying that indexing had taken place (search/lookup), it was time to start drawing in traffic.
