Fully identifying an image can be fairly technical. This page will cover the basics of identifying your images.
Choose the pencil icon to identify your image.
When you choose the pencil icon, you will see your image and a blank identification box.
To add a caption under your image, write the caption in the caption box. If you don't want a caption, leave this box blank.
Your caption appears under the image.
Note: When a caption is added to an image through the caption box, the caption becomes part of the image as far as Word Press is concerned. The caption, in this case, cannot be manipulated separately from the image.
If you want a caption that can be manipulated independently of the image, you simply need to type under the image as with any other content.
Your SEO platform will tell you if your images need to reflect your identified keyword. The alternative text box is the place to enter your keyword. It will not be seen on the page or post with the image.
In this case, I have added keywords as the alternative text.
The next step is to make your image more than just a picture.
