I did feel that I could possibly have applied for Google Adsense sooner, but I guess fear of rejection made me put it off for too long. And who knows if I would have been approved sooner or with fewer posts.
The encouraging thing is that after only a few short days, I can already actually see some activity on my Google Adsense account. And it might not be much yet, but it is a start.
I hope this has motivated you to apply for Google Adsense, and that you have learnt how to add Google Adsense HTML code to the header of your website.
My next step will be to customise my auto settings.

Lesley don't add the code to your theme .....
it will be gone the next time your theme needs an update for security or compatability....
add it using a plugin like ad inserter or headers and footers
or make a child theme...
sorry to be the bearer of bad news,,,,
but i would rather you keep the adsense that as with others .. .get a warning that the code cannot be found.......
plugins only slow your site down if they are badly coded....
