Grow your Buddy list

Developing your buddy list is really easy. Just like when someone new moves into your road, or into the house next door, and you might bring them cookies as a welcoming present, or just stop by to introduce yourself, the same applies when you're blogging - but in reverse!

If you're the new blogger in town, read other blogs in your niche, say hello, show folks what you're up to, be friendly. But not (please!) by social media to demand attention. Also be sure sure your blog has targeted content - your blog cannot and should not be everything to all people. Find and work to your niche, provide top-notch content, and then, reach out to your tribe. It's a risk that's totally worth it.

Indeed Mike. It's a great system we have here at WA and it's a classic example of what I am talking about in this tutorial. We are very lucky to have such power at our fingertips.

Lovely post. I think this human approach is one of the points of difference this online community and course/products has. It's not a bad model to learn from!
