The welcome message is one that I set up before for either bootcamp or the certificate program. I am not sure if I have the right link in it for the go getter program. Please let me know it is not. It's the one I had for the other programs.
Anway, I am keeping the message the same.

Here's what I did with this lesson today:

1. Custom homepage link

That was something I'd not done before, so very pleased to get my own personal message and mugshot on the affiliate page.

I think "Copy your new link to use" simply means,

"Copy your new custom homepage link and use it in your promotions." (No need to post it on this thread...)

NOTE: I now understand that we can make multiple custom homepage links, so I made two custom pages, one each for two of my blogs. :)

2. Follow-up messages

I already have several follow-up messages set up.

At first I didn't understand the instruction,

"Find ones you like on people's profiles and use it as a guideline to write yours."

Then I remembered that, usually, the FIRST message a new members receives on their Profile page is a welcome message from their sponsor. If the sponsor has set up the referral messages, the welcome message is automatically posted on the new affiliate's Profile.

I looked at a few, but did not change my welcome message.

3. Write three Call To Actions.

I guess this is for people to click through to the custom WA homepage we made in step 2 today, but as this is not clear I will wait and see what Bo wants us to do tomorrow.

Looking at the welcome letters is giving me some great ideas of what type of letters that I should/could implement on my niche site if I can find the right plugin.

I too haven't been able to see any videos, so I've just skipped over it. There's been enough work to keep me occupied without them.

Part 3 welcome letters says to add them to this page? A little confused there. I do not know if that was meant to be the custom page I just created. I could not see a way to do this.
Or are we supposed to post them here to the discussion?

There is also the live chat. There is always a lot of people available to help with guidance there. If you end your statement with a question mark it will alert the community that there is somebody that needs help.

You can also post a question to the community and get multiple responses. Up in the top right, just above the white, you will see little boxes. If you click the pen there is an option right there to ask questions.

My best advice is follow the training. Click on the green bar on the left that says get started. This will walk you through step-by-step. You will be amazed at how fast you will have a website online!
