3. Credibility:

People must believe before they buy. If our readers perceive a hint of dishonesty, they will immediately be turned off. As we write, we should try not only to sound sincere, but honestly should be as sincere as we can. As an affiliate marketer, we will get no where hard selling our audience. We should be honest and sensitive.

If our message contradicts some facts, we’ll also be sacrificing credibility. We should research before writing about a certain topic we don’t feel so well acquainted with. If we’re going to contradict some facts it should be intentionally, trying to make a point, but never unwillingly expressing something that a bit of research would have shown what the facts are.

Contradicting the general perception of our readers on a specific topic, will affect our credibility as well. And going against circumstances that our audience accept as true, will likewise make our credibility to be immediately judged.

Our points must be solid if we want to refute a certain line of thoughts. If there is no need to address a polemic matter, don’t do so. The general recommendation is to research and use all the points our readers will agree with us before delivering the point we want to emphasize. Preparing our readers mind to accept our message, starts with building credibility. It’s giving our audience reasons to accept what we want to tell them. If our readers agree with us in all the previous points, then when we cross over the table our point, they will very probably accept it also. We have prepared them to do this.

4. Consistency:

From beginning to end our post must be consistent. We can’t start affirming one thing and in the middle of our writings change the affirmation. This will disorient our readers. When we’re going back and forth with our affirmations, then our readers will not take action. Please check every one of your posts before publishing to see if they are consistent.

Excellent list! I definitely like to use a question in my article title since I find myself clicking on those types of articles when I am browsing.

I like to go back and study the sites that I enjoy going to and ask myself why do I like this site? It has helped me immensely when creating my own articles and navigation.

Hello, Mrs. Clayton!

Yes, using questions in our posts is definitely a good idea! And your comment has a very useful suggestion and I hadn’t thought about it. Going to the sites we enjoy and thinking what makes us click with those sites can help us enhance user experience on our own sites! Thank you very much for this! I’ll start doing this exercise.

Please, let’s keep in touch! I’m looking forward to continue hearing from you and more interesting suggestions! All the best! :)
