When I go to 'Add a campaign' all it gives me is the ability to NAME it and put a description in? I did that and thought ok, to set up parameters I clicked on 'Edit' but there

Kyle has you covered. if you look on the page, there's a sample you can follow.

You want to create the Campaign first. And then once you have done that, you want to click the "Down arrow" and it will open up your campaigns details and your ability to Add Messages. See attached for more details.

Hope this helps you out here Holly!

Is there a "GO BACK to Search Results" button? If not can we get one?

Every time I search for an answer using WA search (Magnifier), which I did today, it reminded me o

Hey Holly,

Here's what I've been doing since I started here... I type in whatever I want to look for.

In my screen print example below, I used "traffic", without the quotation marks, of course... as my example.

Once I have selected a post, raining, or question that I want to read, I right-mouse-click on the title... which then Firefox (my chosen browser) provides me with drop down list of options... and I can choose either Open Link in New Tab or Open Link in New Private Window.

Selecting one of these options allows me the ability to come back to my opened search to choose another, should I decide to read another.

Hope you find this helpful.

PS: Kyle's answer is AWESOME, to say the least. Kyle and Carson are always working diligently to make this better and better on this platform, which makes all of us members love WA even MORE!

Oh my gosh I should’ve thought of that! It is a perfect work around and very much appreciated! Thank you!!

This would be a feature update and we would need to change how this worked, perhaps a "past searches' and to show people where they were within the search and which pages they visited.

We are actually currently working on some search updates to improve it so you can find the content that you want quicker, and the more current content. So this is coming soon. :)

That's so awesome, Kyle :) Looking forward to this update.

My media library is getting quite extensive as I'm sure others are as well.
My question is when I upload an image to my media library, and that image is used in a blog post

Hi Holly,

It makes sense to keep the image since you're still using the content. That's what the media library is for.
Are you having a problem? If not, let it be.

Maxine :)

I agree with Phil here. All the best.

As Phil states, most sites have media libraries that will house images.

-Mike

Most of my websites have media libraries with many hundreds of images. This doesn't cause any problem. Any images that are used in pages or posts do need to be kept.

Make sure you are not using the images. I usually clean as I go along.

Yeah, it must stay if you use it in your content.

Once you have posted an image from your media library, onto or into your post, that image must stay there in your library.

Any other images in your media, if duplicate, can be removed.

You can always replace the image should you replace the wrong image.

Rudy

If you delete an image from media that is used on your site, that image will no longer be available for your site. There may however be many images that are not being used that can be removed from media library.

Email Marketing

For the autoresponder I just chose it's required to have a physical address.
I want to protect my privacy so What do you suggest to use as a physical address?
UPS box ren

Your current address or a hired physical service.

You are very well covered here, with some excellent advice and guidance. If you have any further questions, please let the community know!

-Mike

Hi Holly,

I mentioned recently to someone else, I recommend a registered agent. Most corporations use them for a physical address for legal purposes as one has to be on record.

Their purpose is to act as a physical address, and they will open your mail, scan it to you and then mail you the physical letter. Obviously that isn't likely with email, but satisfies the legal requirement and is much cheaper than a P.O. Box as you can find them as cheap as 49.00 a year.

Regards,

Jason

Hey Holly,

If you want to comply with the law, it is clearly stated that "you must include a physical/street address as part of your email content."

See screen print below...

Aweber offers advise on how to include a physical address in your emails
without revealing where you live: https://blog.aweber.com/learn/canspam-physical-address.htm

Hope you find this helpful.

All autoresponders ask for a physical address. It's an ICANN requirement as a protection against spam. You can use a P.O. Box or a fake address generated by free software. You don't need a separate address for each website.

Really?

Which part of the response are you querying, Abie? I do have around 30 websites, all connected to an autoresponder.
