The Affiliate Marketing scene - questions upon questions
Where is it done?
When to do it?
Why do it at all?
Are these questions you have? Me too!
And the most nagging one of all is...
How do you find that one niche that screams
"Yes that is it! That's my niche!"?
The affiliate marketing world can be a bit intimidating at first research. So many pieces of candy to choose from. Some days you like chocolate, other days maybe sour worms. Its the same with finding a niche for yourself to start with and focus on. Don't feel alone as this is the area of this journey where a bottleneck of people gather all lookin!

List looking here and there at what others are doing.
It happened to me this way. I heard of affiliate marketing and wanted to learn more. No big deal. Whipped out my laptop and logged on. A few words typed in to the search bar and I was on my way to learning more.
Hobbies and work interests, talents and things I've dabbled in over the years came to mind. That's where i began building a list of possible niche areas. From this list how could i form a niche beast for me to help others learn from and possibly learn to build their own list and niche business to complete their goals? That is the monster question that eats at me as I'm sure it does others! The World is online! I must find my place but what is my niche?
So initially I pick 5 areas of interest. Danced around those for a few months. Tried to write content for them and only made it down the road a bit before looking back and looking forward and discovering the niches I chose aren't going to stand the test of time. Yes it was fun but very short lived! The World changed a lot this past year and I had to change my focus.
This made meI work harder and I trimmed that initial list down to just two possible niche areas that were pretty broad on their own but that seemed to work so that I would have more possible branches of content to write for in the future. That I very much felt i needed to have available to keep my interest spiked.
So currently that's where I am! Working 2 niche areas that I can poiish up and branch off into sub areas of each to be both relevant and fresh moving forward.
I learned and am still learning I need to be flexible. It ok to chose a niche and realize later it isn't what you really want and it's not going to get you where you want to be. I like and have knowledge about a niche but found I've been doing it so long that I find it really boring now so I switched it up and feel inspired to learn about something new! So those other niches they aren't out of the game they're just on the back burner for now.
Now I just need to get my tail in gear and WRITE!
Build up some content on my sites is my goal.
Just do it! Right?
Absolutely!
