Having used the SiteComments platform for a while now, I have been pleasantly surprised at the genuine comments that have inspired me to create new content on my website.
Someone asked a question relevant to museums worldwide and that has inspired me to think of relative keywords and to write some more content which in turn can be commented on in turn and thereby the cycle continues.
Be inspired by the comments people offer on your website and use it to create more quality content.
Just had to share this because it has spurred me on and encouraged me in this time of great difficulty.

Very true. When creating a blog it is easy to forget your target audience and get carried away with the content. You know exactly what message you want your post to convey so when you read it back of course it makes sense to you (a bit like my comment here, it makes sense to me!) When someone else reads it they may see it from a totally different view point and interpret the content totally differently. This is why comments are so useful.

Sometimes someone can ask a question you never thought of or assumed to be so obvious you leave it out.
I recently commented on someone's site and noticed that my comments were similar to several other peoples in that they didn't fully understand all the info given. That was to me an indication that the article was either badly written (which I didn't think it was) or too much information that might have been easier to understand if written in simpler terminology.
We can learn a lot from comments.
I totally agree! Comments are the lifeblood of a successful website and thus we should do our best to give quality comments.

That's very true. I received a question as a comment, and that's when I realized I had not yet included that information in my review. I have to make a research and answer that question in my article before replying to that particular comment.

I have to admit the lines blurred for me on SiteComments and SiteFeedback. I ended up giving some people a combo of both. I need to go back and pay closer attention to the requirements of both programs to make sure I'm delivering what's expected. This is helpful for when I am ready to ask for both on my sites.
