Your Niche & How to Find It!
Most when attempting to find their purpose in life are told to follow their passion & the same goes for finding your niche.
Below I will share 3 steps / questions that you can ask yourself in order to find your niche:
- List 15 things that you are curious about, don't allow yourself to overthink this. Write down the 15 specific things immediately. Mine for instance are Fishing, Affiliate Marketing, Internet Marketing, E-Mail Marketing, Instagram Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Video Marketing, Baseball, Christianity, Motivational Speaking, Video Marketing, Online Coaching, Psychology, Law of Attraction, World Travels & the Universe. They aren't in any particular order, just as I thought of them in this moment.
- Are there 3 - 5 of the things that you are curious about that overlap? For me, it is Marketing and Motivation/Law of Attraction/Psychology/Christianity. World Travel, Baseball and Fishing are definitely 3 things that I am passionate about and when narrowed down could also be great niches for me. For instance, I could narrow mine down to "Michigan SmallMouth Bass Fishing"
- What needs of society can your chosen niche help with, Would you be able to utilize your chosen niche to solve any issues/problems/questions that a person may have in your chosen niche?
For me, my chosen niche is helping Friends who are just getting started on the internet with ways to be able to create an income that surpasses their expenses in the shortest amount of time possible. The fact that I am also interested in psychology/motivation/law of attraction helps to accomplish that goal with marketing as well. In relation to the above, I am not a rah rah, chase anyone down in order to force them to do anything. My way is to let the Friends know that when they want my help and/or want to continue in their growth to contact me. I believe in helping Friends who make an effort, I love all Friends but have no time to chase anyone or make anyone do anything. I have found that to be a waste of time.

Hi Tony, Your message here is powerful! You really lay out a step-by step plan of how one can find their Niche. I liked the part especially where you say that you like helping people getting started on the internet for the first time. Any help You can give me would be greatly appreciated. My niche is in smartphones and my website needs a lot more content before I can even begin to start making money. I am also trying a WA link on my Facebook page which is set for public view. So far, no one is interested.
I had my niche and was researching to find out about affiliate marketing and found Wealthy Affiliate. A match made in heaven. Still on a huge learning curve getting it all to work. Always appreciate learning from you, Tony, thank you.

For me I didn't really choose a passion as a topic for my niche but I picked an area of conflict in my life that I'd overcome already for the simple reason that I knew I could help others to deal with it too. My passions are definitely in line for my next few websites though to be sure!
I'd love to just chat about the law of attraction anytime Tony its one of my passions for sure!
